Time Flies!

The weeks fly by so fast that I have not gotten to update you all on what is going on here. I guess it's called working too much. I looked at the date on my last post and it was almost two weeks ago. Where did the two weeks go? Alot has happened but it does not seem like two weeks. Anyway, in those last two weeks I got one student soloed. I think that I was more nervous then he was. It took alot of work to get him to that point though. In the last 2 weeks I have ridden through or tried to salvage 200 + landings! After 5 hrs a day in the airplane with students doing nothing but takeoffs and landings I was so tired I could hardly walk! I never knew flying could be so exhausting. My log book sure likes all of the flight time though.

Enough about work. I wanted to share a couple of prayer requests with you all. 1 Please pray for continued strength for me amidst the crazy schedule. 2nd Please also pray for a couple of decisions that I have to make soon. 3rd If everything goes well this week I have a multi engine commercial check ride on Thursday. I don't like check rides so I would appreciate prayer for it.

God has been teaching me so much about patience and trust over the last couple of weeks. (One of the main tools that he has been using to teach me patience has been my students. ) I never realized how closely these two things are tied together. How many times have we heard the phrase, "patiently trusting Him". Are we and am I willing to patiently trust Him that he knows what is best? It is constant learning process for me to trust him patiently.

If any of you all ever want to Email me I would love to hear from you. My address is Flying_for_him@yahoo.com
