Yesterday I passed my Instrument Instructor check ride even with a 30 knot tail wind on the ILS. Thank you Lord ! It is such a relief to have it over with and have the certificate in my pocket. ( I don't like check rides but who does, they come as a part of life.)
I am going to be starting at FVTC on the 19th of next month. I talked to my current Boss about it yesterday and he still wants me to work for him when I can. ( I am hoping to work maintenance during EAA because I love to work that week.) FVTC is going to be a different challenge for me. I am going from a tool box to a desk, a headset and alot of students. I am looking foward to it but I am also a little apprehensive. I would appreciate your prayers.
It sounds like it is going to be a busy summer for us at FVTC. Our first class starts on June 2nd and it has 16 students who have never flown an airplane before. Right now there are two of us as line instructors and 2 other instructors that function as check airmen and teach the ground school classes. We are hoping to have 2 other instructors on staff by the beginning of the semester but we will see what happens.
PleasePray that I can keep my focus on Jesus Christ and be a light and a witness to the young people that I have the opportunity to train.

Wow! Good for you! I mean good for God - isn't He good! I'll continue praying for you especially now with your new teaching job at FVTC. You'll get to be a missionary there right close to home.
