When you don't have something it makes you very thankful for it when you do have it. I have two days that I don't have to work!!!! The last couple of weeks have been lived by me through a haze of people, places, hotels, air traffic control, fatigue, making sure that my students have the gear down when we are landing and making sure that they are shutting off the correct fuel selector when I fail an engine on the Duchess. I have found one thing through all of this though. God gives strength when it is needed. The verses in Isiah 40:30 &31 are true. Though the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall ,They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Paul says also in the New Testament in Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me. When I can't go on God is so good to give the needed strength. It constantly amazes me what God can do. We have such small expectations of our God. He is just a bit bigger then our comfort zone we think. In theory we know that he is bigger but do we live that way? Are we willing to trust Him completely? That means even when I am afraid of taking a step into the water that looks like it is moving so fast, just like the Israelites at the crossing of the Jordan, I still trust him. He is so infinitely capable and we are so incapable.
I also have a bunch of pics to add from the last 2 weeks that I am going to try to add Tomorrow or Sunday that you will enjoy.
