This has been a marathon flying week and feel like I could sleep till I have to go to work on Monday and do it all over again. I put in over 20 hours of flight time in a 37 hour week and I didn't even fly last Monday. By Friday I was pretty burnt out. I have been so many places in one week I don't know if I can keep them all straight. Wausau, Rinelander, South Bend Indiana twice, Iron Mountain Michigan, Green Bay WI, and some local flights around Oshkosh. I love to fly but My seat was getting very sore by Friday. It seems like we are perpetually understaffed. My student count increases by the week. I now have eight total students in two different classes. The reason this time is that we are now down to two instructors because our other full time instructor quit and someone had to pick up his students. I am going to miss him. He was a brother in Christ and we enjoyed flying Pro D together because we could use the time to talk and fellowship.

I was reading the parable of the three servants that were given the talents this week and a one thing really stuck out to me this time as I read it. It was the fact that all of the servants did what they thought was best with what the master had given them but only two of them did what the master really wanted. They were all sincere and tried but one was very wrong. One key here I believe is that one servant did not know his master well enough to know what the master would want him to do with the talents that he was given. His solution was to guard what his master gave him by hiding it because he was afraid of his master. It did not matter to the master how many talents they gained but that they used what he gave them according to his will. The two that pleased the master I believe were able to please him because they knew the master well. In the same way we know how to use what Jesus, our master has given us by knowing Him and having a daily relationship with Him.

I also posted more pics from this week in the my pics link.
